Bretts Wharf can offer you the perfect wedding option for a civil ceremony.  Click here to view a video which shows a civil ceremony at Bretts Wharf.  This space is only available if your reception is being held with us.  We will do everything so you won’t have to worry about a thing – red carpet strewn with rose petals, covered chairs, PA system…all with the beautiful backdrop of the river, city and mountains beyond.  You can time your ceremony for just prior to sunset for the most amazing photos. There is also a rain plan, so you can relax about that too.

As not all wedding receptions require this service, there is a small charge for us to set up your ceremony, just to cover staff costs for the set up, hire of chair covers, PA system, rose petals and so on.

Close to Bretts Wharf there are a range of Churches.  St Augustine’s Anglican Church in Hamilton, St Agatha’s Catholic Church in Clayfield and St Mary’s Anglican Church at Kangaroo Point are all particularly beautiful Churches.
