There are no room hire or hidden charges at Bretts Wharf if minimum combined food and beverage spend requirements are met.  These conditions vary with the space you require, the time of the year and the day of the week. 

We usually find most evening receptions work out at between $110 and $130 per person inclusive of  a 5 hour beverage package.

There are basically only a couple of components to consider when working out how much your reception will cost:

• Menu
• Beverage
• Décor and theming

Menu

The cost of the menu depends on the style you choose – prices start from $55 for cocktail receptions and $70 for sit down lunches or dinners.  Champagne brunches are increasingly popular and offer great value.

Beverages

Beverages can be charged on either a consumption (or bar tab) basis or at the packaged price.  Most people opt for the package for peace of mind.  A 4 hour beverage package is $36 for bubbles, beer, wine and soft drinks.

Décor, Theming and Chair Covers

You can supply your own or use our preferred supplier – Amini Concepts  – prices start from about $30 per centrepiece.

Our chairs are very stylish as they are and don’t really need covers – but we are happy to arrange these for you at a cost of approximately $4.50 per cover with a huge range of satin and organza sashes.
