For wedding locations in Brisbane, Bretts Wharf has the answer with a range of lovely spaces for receptions from 20 to 200 guests.  It is the perfect Brisbane riverside wedding location.

River Room

The River Room is a unique on-site function room; an elegant purpose built function space quite separate to the restaurant. It has a capacity for 110 guests at tables.

The room’s classic warm neutral tones work well with virtually any colour scheme or theme.  The views are stunning and provide a beautiful backdrop.  The room opens on to a lovely covered terrace area, riverside lawn and gardens with uninterrupted views of the river and city…perfect for pre-reception drinks and canapés.

There is also a gazebo for civil ceremonies.  We will do everything so you won’t have to worry about a thing – red carpet strewn with rose petals, covered chairs, PA system…all with the beautiful view of the river, city and mountains beyond.  Time your ceremony for just prior to sunset for the most amazing photos. There is also a rain plan, so you can relax about that too.

Riverside Marquees

The large riverside lawn adjacent to the River Room can be used as a location for marquees.  The marquee connects to the River Room making a stunning large space suitable for up to 200 guests at tables. While a marquee is an extra cost to hire, compared to other locations for marquees it is a cost effective option if a marquee reception is what you are looking for.

Private Dining Room

This elegant private room is located within the restaurant.  The room is set with one large long table with a capacity for up to 30 guests.  The room has a fantastic view of the water and is perfect for smaller more intimate lunch or dinner receptions.

Waterfront Terrace

Al fresco but covered for weather, this area is lovely for a more relaxed style of reception.  It has a capacity for 50 guests at tables.

Entire Restaurant

We are happy to offer you exclusive restaurant use.  The restaurant is a stunning and unique wedding reception space with a maximum capacity of 200 guests at tables.

Room hire charges

Room hire charges are waived in all areas if minimum food and beverage spend requirements are achieved.  Minimum spend requirements vary with the area you book, the time of the year and day of the week.

Other venues

In addition, Bretts Wharf Catering can provide a range of unique off-site Brisbane wedding locations.  We are preferred caterer at a number of function venues including Brisbane Powerhouse and State Library of Queensland.  Or alternately we can provide your wedding reception catering at your own home or venue.  Bretts Wharf catering assists with off-site events from 30 to 3000 guests throughout South East Queensland.
